Organic Darjeeling Tea (Black Tea)
Our Organic Darjeeling Tea is from the Darjeeling region of India. Darjeeling Tea has traditionally been prized above all other Black Tea especially in the United Kingdom and former British colonies such as India, Singapore and Malaysia. The distinctive character of Darjeeling Tea is a result of several factors. The tea gardens are situated at elevations between 600m to 2150m and on steep slopes which provide ideal natural drainage for the generous rainfall the district receives.
When properly brewed it yields a thin-bodied, light-colored liquor with a floral aroma. Excellent as a breakfast tea.
Why purchase our Organic Darjeeling Tea?
Our Organic Darjeeling Tea is packed in tetrahedral shaped teabags from Japan using the latest Japanese technology. These revolutionary food grade teabags allow better infusion compared to the usual paper teabags in the market. In addition, the extra volume of these teabags enables us to use whole-leaf tea instead of the usual tea powder. Hence, with just our teabag and boiling water, you can enjoy a cup of tea with an aroma and taste equivalent to that of tea brewed traditionally using a teapot ! What's more, you can view the entire process of the tea leaves expanding.
How to prepare our Organic Darjeeling Tea?
1) Place one Organic Darjeeling Tea teabag in a cup
2) Pour in about 150cc of boiling water
3) Let the tea bag steep for 4-5 minutes before removing it from the cup (you can place it in an empty cup)
4) The tea is ready for drinking
