Wu Long Tea Sampler (FREE Shipping!)
Wu Long Tea (also known as Oolong Tea) is a semi-fermented Chinese tea. It has some of the qualities of both black and green tea. At its best, Wu Long Tea is beautiful and fully embodied with a fragrant flavor and fruity, sweet aroma. The vast majority of Wu Long Tea come from China and Formosa (Taiwan).
Our Wu Long Tea is from Anxi, China where 80% of Wu Long Tea are produced. While not as superior as our premium grade Wu Long Tea - Song Lin Tou Tie Kuan Yin (or Iron Goddess Tea), it is amongst the best of its kind. Its rich and sweet flavour, and long pleasant finish, makes it a popular tea amongst tea drinkers. Click here to read about the health benefits of Wu Long Tea.
Other premium grade Wu Long Tea available are Wu Yi Cliff Tea and Dong Ding Wu Long Tea (from Taiwan).
Why purchase our Wu Long Tea?
Our Wu Long Tea is packed in tetrahedral shaped teabags from Japan using the latest Japanese technology. These revolutionary food grade teabags allow better infusion compared to the usual paper teabags in the market. In addition, the extra volume of these teabags enables us to use whole-leaf tea instead of the usual tea powder. Hence, with just our teabag and boiling water, you can enjoy a cup of tea with an aroma and taste equivalent to that of tea brewed traditionally using a teapot ! What's more, you can view the entire process of the tea leaves expanding.
How to prepare our Wulong Tea?
1) Place one Wulong Tea teabag in a cup
2) Pour in about 150cc of boiling water
3) Let the tea bag steep for 4-5 minutes before removing it from the cup (you can place it in an empty cup)
4) The tea is ready for drinking
5) You can prepare another 1-2 cups of Wulong Tea using the same teabag
